The file is a dated record of experiments, but it was framed as briefing
material: it opened with 'Read this before touching the code', tracked
'verified state (as of last session)', described the repo as 'already
scaffolded', and carried an 'Immediate next steps' task list whose items were
all struck through as done. That framing does not match what the content
actually is.

Front matter rewritten as a log header: how to read it, the system under
test, the 2026-08-06 bench verification, the toolchain findings the later
entries rely on, and what remains open at the end. The task lists and forward
plans are gone; the substance they carried (the i2cdetect dump, the dts and
docker findings, the hardware measurements) is kept.

The 2700 lines of dated entries are unchanged apart from phrasing that read
as session notes rather than results - 'this session', 'two of my own fixes',
'this sandbox' - and one heading that announced a plan rather than recording
an outcome.

The convention that superseded entries stay in place is now stated explicitly
at the top, along with the warning that early entries may be wrong and that
anything before the 2026-08-17 extrinsics correction describes a robot whose
scans were placed rotated 180 degrees. That was implicit before, and a reader
starting at the top would have had no way to know it.

All seven references to the old filename updated.
